machines that we used.

his money box.

This week at Woodwork we made a money box. We started off with a rectangular piece of Pinus Radiata timber, then we used the hole saw to cut a hole in the middle of the
timber, then we sanded the rough hole with yellow and silver sand paper. Mr Swain cut the timber into the shape we wanted it, then we sanded the shape. To cut the money hole we used the horizontal boiling machine and Mr Swain cut some glass to put some glass on our money box.

Technology Challenge!

Room 18's co-operative challenge was to make a rain coat out of five plastic bags, a pair of scissors and two metres of cellotape. They had twenty minutes to do this, in groups of five. The raincoat had to be modeled on a student, be durable and keep them dry obviously! These are the results! Some are thorough, some are creative and some are downright crazy. Spot the feline theme raincoat!
